Who we are

Fansha Agro Fruits & Vegetables (U) Ltd, registered in Uganda since 2017 (Reg. No. 80022000078873), exports a wide range of fruits and vegetables to international markets, including the UK, Europe, and the Middle East (Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE). Their product offerings include hot pepper, garden eggs, chili cayenne, curry leaves, avocados, matooke, sweet potatoes, okra, apple bananas, sugarcanes, yams, pineapples, peanuts, eggplants, passion fruits, ginger, beans, soursop, jackfruit, mangoes, and ravaya.

Since 2017, our experience has boosted production, export volume, and quality. We began exporting fresh fruits and vegetables globally and have implemented systems to monitor and prevent pests, including international and European quarantine pests, minimizing produce interceptions. We adhere to both Ugandan and international legal requirements while working diligently to meet our clients' needs.

Fansha Agro Fruits and Vegetables plans to invest in cold storage, upgrade processing, expand farmer training, and access new markets within COMESA and beyond, leveraging its proximity to Entebbe International Airport.

Sourcing

Aggregates avocados from a network of 227 out-grower farmers across five districts, that is; Mpigi, Masaka, Fort Portal, Wakiso, and Mayuge.

Processing

Promotes value through basic processing, including cleaning, sorting, and packaging.

 

Marketing

Connects farmers to larger domestic and regional markets, including tapping into COMESA export opportunities.

 

Farmer Support

Provides training and technical assistance to out-grower farmers to improve agronomic practices, yields, and fruit quality.

Our storage facility

Fansha Agro Fruits & Vegetables (U) Ltd, based in Najjanankumbi Church Zone, Entebbe Road, ensures the export of high-quality fruits and vegetables through rigorous inspection, sorting, and packaging processes. The company maintains strict agricultural and handling practices supported by robust quality management systems from the field to the packing facility. Staff and management are trained to uphold these standards, with continuous improvement backed by dedicated financial resources. Fansha Agro is a member of the Horticultural Exporters Association of Uganda and is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry, and Fisheries (MAAIF) under export no. UG/PFO/019/PR.
